
Waffles with caramel ice cream and pears
Ingredients
6 small pears, peeled, halved
25 g butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp pure cream
6 thick waffles
Salted caramel ice cream, to serve
Method

Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. When sizzling add the brown sugar and stir until sugar has melted. Add pears, cut side down and cook for 3 minutes. Turn and cook for 3 minutes or until pears are caramelised and softened. Remove from heat and cool.

Toast waffles and place onto serving plates. Top with a small scoop of ice cream. Place pear and sauce over ice cream and serve immediately.
